As a further precaution against flooding, we have deployed sandbags in the Quays and Island Road in Enniscorthy. These are available to the public living in those areas to help protect their properties in the event of any possible flooding....here's hoping they won't be needed!

Wexford County Council has activated it's Enniscorthy Flood Plan as a precautionary measure due to heavy rainfall and rising water levels on the Slaney.

The council expects flooding to be minimal but wants to reassure the public they are prepared for any developments. #Wexford
